私たちは暮らしや産業の中で、毎日たくさんのエネルギーを使っています。しかし、日本では、原子力発電を除くと、エネルギー自給率はわずか４％(出典・エネルギー白書2010)。エネルギーの中心となっている石油や石炭、天然ガスなどの化石燃料のほとんどを海外からの輸入に頼っている状況です。
今後も安定的にエネルギーを確保していくため、化石燃料に替わるエネルギーの確保が課題となっています。再生可能エネルギーは、自然界で繰り返し起こる現象から取り出すことができ、枯渇することなく、持続的に利用できるエネルギー源です。
自然豊かな日本には、こうした再生可能エネルギーの資源が豊富に存在しています。今後エネルギーの自給を高めるとともに、ＣＯ２の排出量を大幅に削減していくために、弊社は、これからも再生可能エネルギー製品の開発・製造を進めてまいります。
A large amount of various kinds of energy is consumed to maintain our daily life and industrialized society. According to a 2010 Annual Report on Energy published by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the energy self-sufficiency in Japan is only 4%, excluding nuclear power. Accordingly, Japan is dependent on imports for primary energy supply.
Securing stable energy supply is recognized as one of the most important issues in Japan. That is why we focused our attention on developing products using green energy that comes from renewable energy sources and has low environmental impact.
Japan has an advantage because of its abundant renewable energy sources, and rich nature. Looking ahead to the future, we will continue to strive to develop and produce the renewable energy products that contribute to society, and reduce carbon dioxide emission.
